COMA represents the more than 50 professional musicians who are members of the KWS.

Nationally praised for its performances, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony is the cultural centerpiece of the Region of Waterloo and serves as a significant entertainment resource for the Province of Ontario. The group is heard regularly across the nation on CBC Radio. The KWS owes part of its incredible growth and national profile to the splendid acoustics of its home, The Centre in The Square.

CBC Records has produced eight recordings of the orchestra. most with acclaimed soloists. Many of these recordings were made under the direction of Raffi Armenian, who conducted the KWS for more than 22 years.
