PAUL HOCK

A singer / songwriter / entertainer who lives in the town of Fergus, Ontario. "Hourglass". Many years of playing with the popular showband Hourglass and several other bands such as Garrison and Fantasy, sharpened the entertainment side of his personality. 

He has performed at the Highland Games as a soloist and with his own band as a featured venue in the Mainstage Show. His writing includes "A Song For Canada" resulting in radio airplay across Canada.  Songs such as "Let The Rivers Run" and "A Rose In The River" have been featured on a Songs For A River along with well known artists Nonie Crete, James Gordon (Tamarack) and Gwen Swick (Quartette).

     Paul has performed as a soloist and with his own band(s) at several Canadian Events in Ottawa, Toronto and a host of other communities. He performed original songs at the River Run Centre in Guelph for the "Grand Celebration", as well as having chorus and lead parts in the theatrical productions "Brigadoon" and "Meet Me In St. Louis".  some reunion gigs with "The Hourglass Band".

He loves doing one hour concerts at Retirement Facilities and continues playing writing and recording original and cover tunes
